Pretty Little Liars has a huge cast and a limited budget, so sometimes characters go MIA for episodes on end. But while a few episodes here and there are to be expected, some characters have been gone for so long, we forget if they're even still in Rosewood.

As we decompress from Season 3 and gear up for Season 4, here's a list of the characters we haven't seen for a while. Some of them we want back; others we're not exactly shedding a tear over. But either way, we kind of want to know where they are.

Paige McCullers (Lindsey Shaw): Unlike some of these other characters, Paige at least got name dropped recently. But that doesn't change the fact that she was notably absent near the end of Season 3, especially for a major love interest.

Lucas Gottesman (Brendan Robinson): Lucas ditched Rosewood High because he was scared of Mona (or, at least, that's what he said), but it would be nice to see him again — at least once in awhile!

Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty): Everyone's favorite lurking, sneering, blackmailing jerk was nowhere to be found this winter. Miss you, Noel. Miss you so much.

Peter Hastings (Nolan North): We know Spencer's kinda-sorta-maybe evil dad was apparently in London for at least part of the winter season. Can he come back, please? We're pretty sure he knows more than he lets on.

Holden Strauss (Shane Coffey): Seriously, where did Holden go? At the very beginning of Season 3 we learned that he probably saw Emily "The Night" (who didn't?) but since then, nada.

Mike Montgomery (Cody Allen Christian): Hey, remember when Aria had a little brother we actually saw from time to time? Yeah, us too. Did Ella ship him off to boarding school and away from the danger in Rosewood? We’ll never know.

Duncan Albert (Lachlan Buchanan): Duncan knew Ali in a way few did. You'd think the Liars would want to keep tabs on him.

Andrew Campbell (Brandon W. Jones): Are we going to see Spencer's hot Academic Decathlon buddy again? We hope so.

Hanna's dad and step-family. Did Kate leave Rosewood High after she and Hanna faced off in late Season 2? Is that why we've seen neither hide nor hair of this entire section of Hanna's family?

Sean Ackard (Chuck Hittinger): It's not like we really need to see Hanna's ex, but it's kinda weird that he never, ever comes up, since as far as we know he still goes to school with them.

There are a few other characters we haven't mentioned, but whose absence makes more sense, story wise, such as ex-love interests who don't go to Rosewood High, like Alex Santiago (Diego Boneta) and Samara Cook (Claire Holt).

Did we forget anyone you want to see again? Sound off in the comments below!
