full size Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 20: Wren

Wren, Wren, Wren. We want to trust you, with your big brown eyes and your charming British accent, but we’re not quite sure we can. You pop up at the most convenient times, have an all-access pass to Radley Sanitarium, and seem intent on staying in the Liars’ lives. Could Dr. Wren Kingston (Julian Morris) be part of the “A” Team?

Radley Badges
This week’s Pretty Little Liars episode (Season 3, Episode 22: “Will The Circle Be Unbroken?”) saw a confession from Radley nurse E. Lamb. Good old Eddie divulged to Spencer (Troian Bellisario) that the entire security badge system had been redone. The previous system had not been effective, partly due to the help of someone on the inside. We think that person might be Wren. Judging by this promo, it looks like he catches Spencer snooping in next week’s ep and she has some question for him or her own. We’d like to hear those answers, too, Spence.

Connection to Melissa
Whether or not Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) is part of the “A” Team herself, she seems connected to the events surrounding Ali’s death in some way. Too many of the Liars’ questions have led back to Melissa for her not to know more than she is sharing with Spencer and the other Liars. When we first met Wren, he was engaged to Melissa, which automatically puts his intentions in question, as well. Did Melissa confide in him something more than she has in her sister? Or was Wren already involved? Could Melissa and Wren have met on the “A” Team?

A Liar Lover
We can understand wanting to date our Little Liars. They are all beautiful, clever, and fiercely independent. But it still makes us a bit suspicious that Wren pursued Hanna (Ashley Benson) after things didn’t work out with Spencer. Wren has moved from Melissa to Spencer to Hanna and back to Spencer again in the course of the series. In a way, it seems as if Wren is trying to stay close to those closest to Alison and will date whoever he needs to to do that.

Wren has never done anything openly harmful (unless you count kissing your fiance’s little sister), but that still doesn’t mean we can trust him. Until we learn more about his motives and his connections with Radley and Mona, we are not ready to cross him off of The List of Potential Team “A”-ers..

Do you think Wren is part of the “A” Team? Let us know in the comments below!
