Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: Is Wren Truly a Good Guy?

We know we weren’t the only ones who had a feeling that Wren (Julian Morris) was connected to all the mysterious drama on Pretty Little Liars (sorry Wrencer fans!) but now a writer for the show has put a wrench in any Wren-spiracy theories that we had cooking up.

When a fan asked PLL writer Andy Reaser over Twitter if “Wren will be there for Spencer again,” the scribe had a revealing response:

“Wren is there for everyone. He's a good guy!”

“Good guy” Wren? Hm, so we guess that means that the dreamy Doc isn’t involved in any of the nefarious “A”-related shenanigans that are taking place in Rosewood. We have to admit, Wren’s gentlemanly behavior with drunk Spencer during Season 2 proved to us that he has a good head on his shoulders. However, we could never shake how he always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Plus, he dated Melissa (Torrey DeVitto), which doesn’t say much for his judgement skills.

But wait, if Wren is a good guy who is still vying for Spencer’s heart, what kind of threat will this pose against the equally good Toby (Keegan Allen)? We’d hate to see a handsome sweetie pie get his heart broken.
