Pretty Little Liars isn't afraid to kill off characters. From the murder of Alison (Sasha Pieterse), which sparked the entire show, to the shocking demise of Maya (Bianca Lawson) in Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked,” the writers always keep us on our toes.

Recently, a fan asked showrunner Marlene King, "Are there any deaths in season 3? And how many seasons will there be?"
Marlene replied, "Too early to tell."
Hmmm. Assuming Marlene's response was meant to cover both questions, that means that Season 3 should be death-free for a while, since the cast and crew are already working on Episode 6: “The Remains of the ‘A.'" But that doesn't mean the writers couldn't decide to introduce a last-minute twist.
What do you think: has there already been enough death and devastation in Rosewood for now, or do you like that there is real danger for the characters?
Catch an all-new Pretty Little Liars when Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
