Pretty Little Liars Clue: Why Was There a Blonde Alison Wig in "A"'s Lair?
ABC Family just released some new photos of “A”’s creepy lair from Pretty Little Liars Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked” (click here to see all the photos) and we couldn’t help but notice a blonde wig perched next to the weird Ali shrine.
We know that Mona (Janel Parrish) is definitely “A,” according to executive producer Marlene King, so it is weird that she would have a blonde wig. We’ve never seen Mona in a blonde wig, so it would be odd that the notoriously details-obsessed PLL crew would place the wig in her lair.
The only blondes that we’ve seen on the show are Hanna (Ashley Benson), Hanna’s stepsister Kate, and Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) during flashbacks and “hallucinations.” Now, we know this might sound a teensy bit ridiculous, but could this be a hint that Ali or Ali’s rumored twin has dyed their hair after Alison’s disappearance (perhaps to keep a low profile) and dons the blonde Ali wig to create “hallucinations” for the Little Liars?
We know that the Ali hallucinations are suspicious since the Little Liars have noted physical evidence of them being real once they “wake up” (Emily was physically removed from the barn o’ death, Spencer saw that the pill bottle was still open when Ali creeped into her room.)
If our theory is correct, this could mean that Mona has a connection to Alison and/or her twin, and that they might be involved in the torture of the Little Liars. Is Ali/her twin the person who is controlling Mona?
