Pretty Little Liars director Norman Buckley recently tweeted that there is a “big old clue” hinting at who “A” is  in one of the Season 1 episodes, and “no one spotted it.” So which episode is he referring to, and how quickly can we re-watch it?!

The clue, he says is in Season 1, Episode 12: “Salt Meets Wound,” and Norman says it was “right in front of everyone’s nose.” This was the episode where Hanna (Ashley Benson) was released from the hospital in a wheelchair, and Mona (Janel Parrish) throws her a surprise welcoming party at her house.

Norman also tells Ology some details on the Season 2 finale.

“I think that everybody will be very satisfied with the finale of this season,” he says. “And I think it’s great, the way they’ve structured this show so that it will then spin off into a new series of mysteries. The writers are very clever, and they’ve really worked it out.

As for whether or not the “A” reveal is the biggest shock of the episode, Norman is on the same page as Ian Harding (Ezra). “I do know who ‘A’ is, but what they’ve constructed is much more complicated than just the answer to that question.”
