When we last left Mona (Janel Parrish) in the mental hospital during the Season 3 premiere of Pretty Little Liars, she was completely catatonic during Hanna’s (Ashley Benson) visits —a nd seeing dead people (that is, a disturbing vision of the dead Alison).

So it would seem impossible for our resident crazy, who was exposed as the notorious stalker “A,” to ever get a boyfriend. But actress Janel Parrish isn’t giving up hope for her character.

When recently asked if Mona could get a love interest, Janel said, “I would love that! Even though she is crazy she deserves to be loved.”

And Janel knows who she’d like Mona to share some stolen moments with – hunky Lachlan Buchanan, who plays the recurring role of Duncan.

“Storyline wise I don't know [who would be the right guy] but if I had to choose I thought the Australian guy, Lachlan Buchanan. I thought he was cute! If he ever came back!” she gushed.

Could it work? Anything is possible in Rosewood, and Duncan, Alison’s secret boyfriend, was one of the last people to see her alive. With Alison’s grave now empty and Mona having visions of the dead girl, Mona and Duncan would have something to talk about! Stay tuned.
