Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 11 Title Revealed: “Single Fright Female”
It may be months away, but the title of Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 11 has been revealed: “Single Fright Female.” What on earth could this suggest?
As always, we try and predict what an episode will focus on based on titles (check out our interpretations of the first few Season 3 episode titles here). While Episode 11 doesn’t air until August, we can still make a few assumptions.
The obvious inspiration here is the 1992 movie Single White Female, starring Bridget Fonda as a woman seeking a roommate in a beautiful New York apartment, and Jennifer Jason Leigh as the mentally unhinged and stalker-esque roommate who moves in. Eventually, Jennifer starts dressing and acting identically to Bridget. She becomes so obsessed with her that she eventually wants to murder her so she can take over her life.
Fun! The allusions to psychological problems could certainly hint at Mona (Janel Parrish) coming unraveled, or perhaps the title hints at the popular theory that either Alison (Sasha Pieterse) or her twin Courtney are involved. After all, in the books, Courtney became so obsessed with Ali that she eventually murdered her and took over her identity. Coincidence?
