We're constantly looking for clues about what's coming up next on Pretty Little Liars, and what better source of info than the promos themselves?
We've taken a close look at the preview for Season 3, Episode 17: “Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Inferno,” and there's a lot of exciting stuff going on. Here’s what we gathered from our frame-by-frame analysis:
"I haven't told you guys the truth." We see Spencer (Troian Bellisario) breaking down about having not told the Liars "the truth." We know she initially hides what she's learned about Toby (Keegan Allen) from her friends — is this a clip of her fessing up? Or is there something else she admits, instead?
Aria and Ezra break up. We see Aria (Lucy Hale) tell Ezra (Ian Harding) "I was scared of what it might do to us," and later we see a text from Aria that says "Ezra freaked. He broke up with me. Can you meet in the park?" It sounds like she finally tells him about his son, and he doesn't take it well.
Spencer on a warpath. We see Spence tearing up a picture of herself and Toby, and then we see her confronting Ezra, angrily asking "How could you do that to her? Do you think that it's easy to find out a secret like that?" Well, at least she's found someone to take her anger about Toby out on...
Is that a cop car? At 11 second in, there's a shot of Spencer sitting somewhere, and there's a brief flash of blue that looks like it could be from the light of a cop car. Or are we reading too much into it?
Hanna at a party. We see a brief flash of Hanna (Ashley Benson) holding some fruity drink at a party.
Hanna vs. Emily. "What're you thinking!?" Hanna desperately asks Emily (Shay Mitchell) in another clip. "I'm thinking we could end this" Emily responds.
More creepy dolls. There's a brief shot of someone taking a blowtorch to a doll that looks a lot like Hanna. "A" being creepy again, or something else?
Spoby hooks up?! Most importantly, at the end, there's a clip of Toby making out with what looks like Spencer. Does she really go back to him already? Is this a dream? A flashback? Are we wrong about who it is? Or is this the beginning of Spencer and Toby’s “cat-and-mouse game”?
