Pretty Little Liars is known for being down-right creepy, but Season 3 has definitely been the ABC Family series’ most intense season yet -- thanks to creepy Byron, Toby (Keegan Allen) the betrayer and psycho Meredith. But that was only the beginning!

Writer Joseph Dougherty recently tweeted, “I'm prejudiced, but in #PLL 318 @PLLijah has written some of the most provocative scenes in the series.”

OK, now we’re intrigued, but what does it all mean? Well, here’s what we know about the episode.

In Season 3, Episode 18: “Dead to Me,” the Liars say goodbye to Alison (Sasha Pieterse) once and for all (or, at least until she appears to them in another dream). While  Hanna (Ashley Benson), Aria (Lucy Hale), and Emily (Shay Mitchell) are down for another memorial, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) is over it and refuses to go. After all, Ali wasn’t even a good friend, so why do they keep saying goodbye? She’s too busy dealing with Mona (Janel Parrish) to think about Ali.

And with Ezria and Spoby on the outs, what’s so provocative about “Dead to Me?” Perhaps Paily has a steamy scene coming up? After all, Paige (Lindsey Shaw) is playing a “dangerous game” getting herself wrapped up in “A’s” drama -- and flirting with a mystery woman in a club.

What do you think Joseph was referring to? Sound off in the comments!
