"A" isn't messing around: According to the press release about the episode, the new "A" "is determined to show the Liars that he/she means business" and leaves a message that "sets the girls on edge." The press release calls it a "gruesome reminder that ‘A’ is still calling the shots." Could that be the uber-creepy necklace made of teeth? Because that certainly freaks us out.
Playing with fire: According to the press release, "the usual game...has been taken up a notch" and "Spencer [Troian Bellisario] and Hanna [Ashley Benson] continue to play with fire as they look for answers." Based on the sneak peeks and previews we're guessing that for Hanna that means confronting Mona (Janel Parrish) again.
Aria's past: Meanwhile, the press release says "one of Aria's [Lucy Hale] past indiscretions becomes fodder for 'A’s game." Could that be Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker)? Based on what we know about the filming schedule it seems like Jason isn't back on screen untilEpisode 3: “Kingdom of the Blind.” However that could be off, or "A" could threaten him without him actually appearing in the episode. Or maybe it's someone else...
Emily's memory: The press release also says "a still very shaky Emily [Shay Mitchell] tries to focus on school but could easily be derailed when she remembers a crucial piece from 'that night.'" Can't she ever catch a break?
