In the Canadian promo for Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 4: “Birds of a Feather,” there’s a very brief glimpse of something very suspicious. If you blink, you’ll miss it, but it could be important. Detective Wilden (Bryce Johnson) will be back, and for some reason, he’s working with Wren (Julian Morris).

We can understand Wilden’s reappearance. After all, Alison’s (Sasha Pieterse) grave was just robbed, and he’s the chief detective in Rosewood, so it makes sense that he would get involved. But what does Wren have to do with it? And what is Wilden handing to Wren in such a suspicious way?

Judging by their surroundings, we’re guessing that this exchange goes down in Radley Sanitarium. Wren could have discovered that Mona (Janel Parrish) knows something about who took Ali’s body (as she told Hanna [Ashley Benson] in Season 3, Episode 3: “Kingdom of the Blind”), and could be passing along the information to Wilden. But what if Mona is pulling an “A” and ratting out the Little Liars?
