Spencer’s mom is still working on Garrett’s case and she’s working her master lawyer-y magic to get his case thrown out due to faulty evidence. This rattles Spencer since she remembers the note about April Rose having “the proof” and thinks that this might have something to do with the now unusable evidence.

Meanwhile, we learned a bit more about the N.A.T. club. Turns out it was Jason’s idea, but Ian and Garrett would set up girls to be filmed, sometimes with the help of their female friends. (Hm, could Ali have been setting up the Little Liars to get filmed?)

Oh, about April Rose, turns out she is a “it” and is actually an antiques store run by an incredibly creepy elderly couple. But it does have an anklet that looks a lot like one that Ali used to sport when she would go out to flirt with frat boys. Spencer and Jason buy the anklet and turn it into the police … and it turns out that it actually proves that Garrett was innocent.

Also, Emily is remember more about “that night,” including that she was brought to a diner by a guy with a wrist stamp from a roving party that Holden (yes, he’s back!) used to frequent along with Maya.
