In a new interview with MTV, Janel Parrish (Mona Vanderwall) revealed a seemingly innocuous teaser about Pretty Little Liars Season 3, that we think could be a major clue for what to expect.
Janel explained that Season 3 picks up six months after we last left off, meaning that Mona will have been at Radley Sanitarium for a long time. Something to look forward to is the fact that “You’ll see who’s been visiting her.” Does that mean we’ll get to see the mystery person who showed up towards the end of the Season 2 finale (Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked”)?
But the most exciting news, we think, is something else Janel shared about the upcoming season: “[You’ll see] more connections being made for people that you didn’t even know knew each other in Rosewood.” So maybe some of those dream scenes we once hoped for will actually come true!
Catch an all-new Pretty Little Liars when Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
