Pretty Little Liars Season 3 has introduced us to a budding new friendship we never would have expected: Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Wren (Julian Morris). Of course, some fans have started wondering if there's the potential for more than friendship there — especially because Julian has hinted that Wren might get a new love interest this season.

So, what does showrunner Marlene King have to say about this new pair? She recently tweeted some thoughts.

A fan asked Marlene to describe the Hanna and Wren friendship in one word, and Marlene replied, "sweet."

The fan then asked if that meant "wrenna" (Hanna/Wren, duh!) was on the table, Marlene replied, "sweet can mean a lot of things."

Oh Marlene, ever so coy! That answer is a total non-answer. She's even better at keeping secrets than the Liars.

Marlene also recently tweeted that Hanna and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) will have some "intense" storylines this year. If that intensity gets to be too much, we could maybe see Hanna turning to Wren for non-platonic comfort. On the other hand, "sweet" sounds pretty harmless, so maybe Wren will remain a supportive friend and nothing more.

What do you think: Is Hanna/Wren a good idea, or are you Haleb all the way? And do you think Marlene's tweet means Hanna/Wren is a possibility, or will they definitely remain nothing but friends? Let us know in the comments below!
