For those of you who feel like Pretty Little Liars Season 3 has been more focused on the new "A" than on the aftermath of Maya's (Bianca Lawson) murder, it's time to stop worrying. A new tweet from PLL writer Andy Reaser should help assure you that Maya's death will not go unnoticed in the narrative.

When a fan asked Andy, "Is there any talk of Maya in the summer finale or is her story already told & over by then?" Andy replied, "Solving Maya's murder is a driving force of season three."

Note that he doesn't just say the Season 3 summer season, which implies that Maya's murder will probably continue to be a plot point in the Season 3 winter season as well.

Either way, it's clear Maya hasn't been shoved to the backburner in the writers' minds. We have a feeling her death is a mystery with many layers that will be unfolded slowly, over time.
