Pretty Little Liars Season 3 came to a close with last night's finale (Season 3, Episode 24: "A dAngerous gAme"). The episode was hyped to the moon and back, promising shocking twists, high drama, and multiple answers. Did it live up to expectations?
There was definitely a lot to love. Toby's (Keegan Allen) alive (and apparently not evil)! Ali (Sasha Pieterse) is (probably) Big "A"! Melissa (Torrey DeVitto), Jenna (Tammin Sursok), and Shana (Aeriel Miranda) are their own coalition!
However, for an episode that promised answers, there was very little concrete information passed on, and a lot of fans are frustrated. Toby being alive is the only true answer we got. Yes, Big "A" is probably Ali, but the glimpses the Liars got are hardly definitive. And knowing there's a Team Melissa/Jenna/Shana just opens up a whole new can of questions.
On the shippy side, Spoby fans were generally happy to see their favorite pair reunited, but now it looks like Toby might be in trouble again, which is a downer. And, of course, Ezria looks to be dunzo, which is no fun for fans of that relationship.
And, perhaps most frustratingly of all, the episode ended on a big cliffhanger that leaves us with very little idea where things will go from here. There could be almost anything in Wilden's (Bryce Johnson) trunk. Even if the most obvious answer — that it's a body — is true, it could still be almost anyone.
That said, the episode was a fun ride filled with thrills, WTF moments, and romance. So did you enjoy this finale, or were you disappointed? Vote in our reaction buttons and sound off in the comments below.
