Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) are about to face their biggest challenge yet as a couple: navigating Ezra's new status as a father. It's a lot to handle, and some fans are worried about if the couple can survive all the twists and turns of Pretty Little Liars Season 3B.

Recently, PLL writer Bryan Holdman weighed in on the matter.

"Keep hope alive, Ezrians!" Bryan tweeted recently, adding, "(Um... unless you believe what Spencer always says...)"

Obviously, that second sentence is a reference to Spencer's fondness for the phrase "hope breeds eternal misery." So should Ezria fans have hope, or will it just make them sad?

While Ian Harding has warned that this new turn of events is the end of Aria and Ezra "as we know them," he also said it's not the end of them all together. Meanwhile, showrunner Marlene King has hinted that Ezria fans shouldn't assume the worst.

We have a feeling Aria and Ezra will find a way to make things work, but the process will probably be long and painful.
