Suddenly, June doesn’t seem so far away thanks to this recently released synopsis for the Pretty Little Liars Season 4 premiere, which is titled “A Is For A-l-i-v-e.” Wait, does that mean Ali is alive? Or could the episode title be referring to the Liars’ thinking she’s alive after Hanna saw Ali — or someone in an Ali mask — pull them from the lodge fire?
We know the Season 4 premiere takes place “seconds after” the Season 3 finale, with Spencer, Aria, Hanna, Emily, and Mona finding out what (or who!) was in Wilden’s trunk. We’re really hoping it’s not a dead body, but considering Troian Bellisario said “it’s pretty close to your worst nightmare,” what else could it possibly be?
Either way, “A” isn’t the only thing on the girls’ minds as, “Aria struggles with seeing Ezra in the wake of their breakup, and Emily starts to make plans for life after high school.”
Of course, everything always comes back to “A” in some way, shape, or form because before the episodes ends, “a shocking discovery reverberates through Rosewood.” We wonder if it has anything to do with what’s in the trunk.
Here’s the official Season 4 premiere episode synopsis: The Liars are desperate to uncover what new scheme “A” has in store for them in the wake of the lodge fire, and have no choice but to turn to Mona for answers, now that she is also being targeted. Aria struggles with seeing Ezra in the wake of their breakup, and Emily starts to make plans for life after high school. Meanwhile, “A” sets Toby on a new path, what’s in the trunk is revealed, and a shocking discovery reverberates through Rosewood.
