The Pretty Little Liars Season 3 finale may have tossed a few answers our way, but it also left us with more questions than ever. We're on the edge of our seats waiting for Season 4, which premieres on June 11. Fortunately, the cast and crew are already hard at work crafting the next installment of the series, which means we're getting lots of spoilers — including some new episode titles!

We already know the Season 4 premiere will be called "'A' Is for A-l-i-v-e" and Episode 2 is reportedly "Turn of the Shoe." Now, thanks to E!, we can also add Episode 3's title to the list. It's called "Cat's Cradle."
It looks like the writers are really loving their literary references next season. We're pretty sure “Turn of the Shoe” is a nod to the Henry James novella The Turn of the Screw. Cat's Cradle, meanwhile, is a famous novel by Kurt Vonnegut.
However, we doubt anything in the episode will tie directly to that book, which is a sci-fi-esque satire of the arms race about a doomsday weapon that could destroy the world. Not exactly Pretty Little Liars territory — unless the girls are reading it in school? Or maybe it's meant to evoke the increasingly intense battle between the Liars and "A"?
Of course, the words "cat's cradle" also reference the string game where two people pass string from one to the other in increasingly complex patterns. Perhaps it's a metaphor for the complex back-and-forth between the "A" team, the Liars, and possibly now the so-called "B" team.
