The cast and crew of Pretty Little Liars are in the midst of a big experiment: Writer Joseph Dougherty wrote both Season 4, Episode 3: "Cat' Cradle" and Episode 4: "Face Time," and director Norman Buckley is working on directing both of them at once. Apparently, it made for a late night while filming a scene between two very important sisters.

"3:30am in rosewood," Troian Bellisario (Spencer) tweeted in the wee hours of the morning on April 6. "[Torrey DeVitto (Melissa Hastings)] still... going... strong."
A few hours later she added, "5:47 wrap on @TorreyJDeVitto and me. [Director Norman Buckley] is a hero. Still driving that ship til sun up."
Norman Buckley replied, "that last scene was stunning. We were all so tired I don't think we acknowledge how fine it was!"
"Haha. Yes, we were all quite delirious!" Torrey chimed in. "Thanks Norman! See you next week. xx"
Based on the photo above, which Norman tweeted, saying "2am in Rosewood," it looks like they were filming a night scene outside, apparently in or near the woods.
Whoa, sounds like a fun, crazy night. But leaving the insane hours aside, let's take a moment to reflect on what these tweets mean: Spencer and Melissa share at least one "stunning" scene (and by the way Norman said "that last scene," it sounds like Torrey and Troian might have been working on more than one scene) in either Episode 3 or Episode 4. And it's outside. Near the woods.
Given that Melissa is part of the mysterious "B" team, we can't wait to see what the show has in store for the Hastings sisters!
