Pretty Little Liars showrunner Marlene King isn’t the only one making promises about the epicness of Season 4. Costume designer Mandi Line took to Twitter to let PLL fans how amazing this year’s Halloween episode will be:

#pll fans u actually have no clue how insanely AWESOME this HALLOWEEN episode is going to be! The whole #pll team is going to blowurmind!!!” Mandi tweeted yesterday.

PLL Halloween episodes are generally amongst the best of the season. The second season’s saw an entire flashback episode to the Halloween before Ali died. The third season’s gave the Liars and viewers a terrifying ride on a Halloween party train. By the end of the journey, Garrett had been murdered and Aria only barely evaded death. Basically, serious stuff goes down in the Halloween episodes.

And we totally understand why Mandi is on board with the Halloween eps in particular. The Liars always go all-out with their costumes. Remember Spence’s Mary Queen of Scots or Hanna’s Marilyn Monroe? These girls are Halloween enthusiasts.

This isn’t the first mention of this year’s Halloween episode we’ve gotten. Last month, we found out that we would be introduced to three Ravenswood characters in the Halloween episode. And, just this past weekend, both Marlene and writer Kyle Bown tweeted their excitement as they started work on the script.
