The Pretty Little Liars Season 3 finale (Season 3, Episode 24: "A dAngerous gAme") may have left us with a mountain of questions, but one thing we know for sure is that Toby (Keegan Allen) is 100 percent alive, and his relationship with Spencer (Troian Bellisario) seems to be back on. That's great for Spoby shippers, but what about Wrencer fans? Is Wren (Julian Morris) totally out of luck in Season 4?

A fan recently tweeted at PLL writer Maya Goldsmith, asking what role Wren might play in Season 4, since the Spoby reunion in the finale seemed to torpedo the possibility of more Wrencer.
Maya didn't have anything specific to say about this ship, but she did respond with this: "All I know is what when it comes to PLL, never say never ;)"
Personally, we see no reason to think Wrencer is off the table for good. Spencer has always been drawn to Wren, even though she loves Toby.
Plus, just because Spoby is reunited doesn't mean all of their wounds have healed. Toby may have been on the "A" team to protect Spencer, but as she pointed out, he still stood by and did nothing while she broke down from emotional pain. It might take them time to rebuild that trust, and Wren's superpower seems to be swooping in any time Spencer is having doubts about her relationship.
Whatever happens, we're hoping to see more Wren next season because we have a lot of questions about Rosewood's hottest doc. He may not be on the "A" team, but we're not convinced he's innocent either.
