There are so many people involved in the production of Pretty Little Liars, and perhaps no one can speak to the mood of the show’s setting better than production designer Fred Andrews. What did he have to tweet about an upcoming Season 4 episode?

“Rosewood is about to get allot scarier for our dear Pll 's  excited for tomorrow's shoot! #pll #darkspaces,” Fred tweeted yesterday. Scarier? Dark spaces? Sounds like Rosewood is going dark.

Is this a literal reference? Is there some reason for an absence of light in Rosewood maybe a town-wide blackout or an all-nighttime episode? We’re on board with both of those ideas, as we think an pitch black episode would be awesomely creepy and something we haven’t seen from PLL before (we are headed into the fourth season, and don’t want the show to get redundant). As scary as Rosewood can be, it is usually moderately well-lit. We hate (and love) to think what it would be like if the streetlights started to go out.

What do you think Fred is talking about? Would you like to see Rosewood go dark? Let us know in the comments below!
