Ravenswood, the proposed Pretty Little Liars spin-off series, is “moving forward,” according to writer Joseph Dougherty’s latest tweet. What else did Joseph tweet to tease the show about a town not far from Rosewood that suffers from a generations-long curse? Read on to find out...
Joseph also shared this chilling photo taken by the gate of a Victorian Gothic structure, obscured by the fog. The image has the Ravenswood logo on it, along with the words: “Sing... us a song. A song to keep us warm. There’s such a chill, such a chill.” The haunting words are lyrics from a Radiohead song called “Exit Music,” and they certainly cast a chill down our spines. (Check out the photo below. Are you as intrigued as we are?)
This is one of many images released to give us glimpses at the world of Ravenswood, the cursed Pennsylvanian hamlet. It continues a recurring theme of a show steeped in history. The Victorian Gothic home in the background of the photo seems from another time, as do picture hints like the wax seal and the faded parchment. Will Ravenswood feature flashbacks like its sister show PLL, but much further back? A look back to a Ravenswood generations before, a la The Vampire Diaries? Regardless, this image suggests history will play an important part in the world of Ravenswood.
What do you think of the image and the Radiohead lyrics that go along with it? Let us know in the comments below!
