Of all the things we expected from the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 finale (Season 3, Episode 24: E: "A dAngerous gAme"), Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) potentially returning to Rosewood High was not one of them. But then in Season 3, Episode 22: "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" we learned that Ezra has applied to be a substitute in Rosewood's district, and suddenly some photos from the finale makes a lot more sense.

As you can see in the photo above, Ezra appears to be back in a Rosewood High classroom, presumably as a substitute. And as you can see in the photo to the right, he also walks Rosewood High's halls with Aria.

Okay, so it seems like Ezra does end up back at Rosewood High. Question: Does he know that Aria lied about their relationship? Is he okay with having to once again keep their love on the DL? We're not particularly looking forward to seeing that plotline revisited. Hopefully the writers will put a new spin on it!

Ezra returning to Rosewood High does explain what Ian Harding meant when he told us that "things come full circle" in the finale, and "things that you saw of me in, let's say the early episodes of season one, you might see again. Similar situations, set-up scenes."

What do you think of the idea of Ezra returning to Rosewood High?
