The mastermind behind Pretty Little Liars is at it again. Marlene King loves to taunt and tease us until we can’t take anymore (while secretly loving it) … and now she’s taken to Twitter for her latest finale clue.

Marlene tweeted a photo of red umbrellas with the caption, “This makes me think of the 3B finale. Hmmm.”

So what can we take away from this photo? Obviously, Marlene loves the color red. That is not news. It’s the color of blood, it’s the color of lips, and it really pops when combined with, we don’t know, black, perhaps?

But what could the umbrellas mean? Option one is that it’s literally raining in Rosewood during the Season 3 finale, which hurts visibility and could lead to a lot of potential danger. Option two is that the rain isn’t quite so literal. Maybe there’s a downpour of secrets or drama? That certainly sounds like Rosewood.

Or perhaps the umbrellas represent the idea that people are hiding under something to try and block their identity, which is obviously what the “A” team is all about. But why is there such a large number of umbrellas? Are a lot of people hiding in Rosewood? Could this hint to the idea that the “A” team is much larger than we know?
