Let’s take a step back from all the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 finale talk to focus on a more recent “creepy 316 clue” that was given to us by none other than showrunner Marlene King.

Marlene took to her favorite venue, Twitter, to share a photo of what appears to be a warehouse full of white mannequins. Could this be some twisted adult version of a dollhouse? But why do they all appear to be female?

Marlene tells us that the clue is for Season 3, Episode 16: "Misery Loves Company" so perhaps the mannequins are the company?

We’re really not sure what to make of this. If you look closely, you can see mannequin body parts hanging from different chains and things … it reminds us of the “A” text about playing with body parts. Better “A” play with manikin body parts than real ones though, right?

Could the Liars find themselves in this warehouse? Or could the mannequins find themselves in Rosewood? Perhaps the “A” team will start using props in one of their upcoming schemes? After all, Mona (Janel Parrish) already used a paper mache head in the Halloween episode (Season 3, Episode 13: “This Is a Dark Ride”), so we wouldn’t put it past her.

Could these mannequins belong to a store? But what store would need that many? All we know about this particular clue is that it’s creepy, so help us out by sharing your mannequin theories in the comments below!

Catch the return of PLL Season 3 on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
