With only two more episodes to go until we meet another member of the “A” team, Pretty Little Liars showrunner Marlene King has taken to Twitter to hint, tease and torture us with information about the summer finale (Season 3, Episode 12: “The Lady Killer”). Recently, she tweeted about the return of one particular character.

We’re talking about none other than Mona (Janel Parrish), because you can’t have a dramatic summer finale without a little Mona, right? When asked if any other secrets about Mona are going to be unmasked, Marlene responded, “Yes, another member of her team.”
Although we already knew that another member of the “A” team was going to be revealed, this makes us wonder just how involved Mona still is in the “A” drama. If Marlene is referring to it is “her team,” could Mona be the leader behind all of this, even from Radley?
As if that isn’t enough Mona drama for one episode, Marlene also tweeted about what will happen the next time we see those evil sparkling brown eyes.
“You will see her in the finale,” Marlene tweeted. “And you will never forget what you see.” Bum, bum, bum. Are you scared yet?
So what could all of this mean? Are we finally going to see Mona outside of the hospital? Could her appearance somehow be related to the blood on Emily’s hands? Bigger question: Could Mona die?
We’re not ruling out any scenarios. If Mona’s involved, we’re sure it’s going to be dramatic. But how dramatic? Tell us what you think in the comments!
