In the history of Pretty Little Liars, we’ve really only seen Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker) in individual storylines with three of the Liars: Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse). Being that he’s related to two of those people and had a pretty obvious crush on the third, we wonder what could cause potential future interactions between Jason and another Liar.

Shay Mitchell (Emily) took to Twitter late last night to express her exhaustion after a long day on set with none other than our second favorite bad boy (behind Toby (Keegan Allen), obviously). Shay tweeted, “Long day on set with @_Drew_Van_Acker... that last scene wiped us outttttt...#beyondexhausted #PLL” accompanied by a photo of the adorable and very tired pair.

OK, so the first option is that the two of them were just both on set really late and blah, blah. But we prefer the other option: That there’s more Jason-Emily action in our future.

If that’s the truth, what do you think could be the common denominator between the two of them? Are they brought together as friends, enemies ... frenemies? Could Emily have anything to do with Jason’s need for a break?

Better question: If Spencer’s world being turned upside down in the finale has something to do with family drama and Emily is interacting with Jason toward the end of the season, could Emily be intervening (or even a part of) that drama?

And finally, what did Shay mean by the specific reference to the last scene? It certainly sounds like they filmed it together. What could’ve made it so tiring? Could Jason and Emily find themselves in a physical struggle with “A” or even each other?

We know that the pair were seen filming at what looked like a mortuary for Season 3, Episode 18, so maybe this is a continuation of that storyline.

Do you guys want some Emily-Jason time? And if so, what do you expect to come from it? Let us know in the comments!

Don’t miss the next new episode of PLL, the Halloween special, on Tuesday, October 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
