"A" Targets Mona: The official synopsis for the episode says "a surprising new victim of ‘A’ is revealed to the girls," meaning "the PLLs tight-knit group may just get one person larger." Based on this sneak peek, that new target looks to be none other than Mona (Janel Parrish).
It looks like "A" is angling to pit Mona against her BFF, Hanna (Ashley Benson), by sending her pics of Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton) and Detective Wilden's (Bryce Johnson) illicit hook-up back in Season 1. How much do you want to bet that "A" will pressure Mona to reveal that Ashley slept with Wilden to protect Hanna?
Ella and "A": Speaking of the Liars' parents, it looks like Aria's (Lucy Hale) 'rents are finally getting in on the action. In this preview, we learn that "A"'s note to Byron (Chad Lowe) on Season 2, Episode 20: “CTRL:A” has set Ella (Holly Marie Combs) off, and now she's determined to figure out who "A" is. Well, if there's one Rosewood parent who can handle the mysterious stalker, it's the ever-tough Ella.
Melissa Returns: In this sneak peek, we see that Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) is finally back in Rosewood, and (justifiably) freaking out about the news that Jason (Drew Van Acker) is her half brother. She's also genuinely nice to Spencer (Troian Bellisario), for a change. Will these troubled sisters finally mend their relationship and team up?
Paige Returns: Everybody's coming back to the show. Paige (Lindsey Shaw) also makes a reappearance this episode — and it looks like she wants Emily (Shay Mitchell) back, badly. Uh-oh. Is this bad news for the already struggling Emily/Maya (Bianca Lawson) relationship?
Bring on the Wrencer! According to the synopsis “Spencer runs from her family troubles right into Wren’s (Julian Morris) arms," and this episode preview suggests the same thing. Well, that might put a strain on whatever tentative sisterly bond Spencer and Melissa form. And what about Toby (Keegan Allen)?
Does Ezra leave? The synopsis also says that "Ezra’s (Ian Harding) new opportunity could push him away from Aria." Clearly, that's a reference to the job offer in New Orleans. We know that Ezra will be MIA from a number of episodes later this season, which suggests he might actually take the job.
That's all for now. Be sure to tune in for the episode on Monday, February 20 at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC Family.
