The girls of Pretty Little Liars have had their fare share of horror, and we aren’t talking about the psychological kind. For years now, the girls have had to physically run and fight for their lives … some more than others.

The group has taken on “A” multiple times, and there was that one time that Hanna (Ashley Benson) got hit by a car, but we’re mostly talking about the one-on-one showdowns with a crazy (and potentially armed) individual.

Spencer (Troian Bellisario), for one, has experienced a lot of action in that department, thanks mainly to her scuffle with Ian (Ryan Merriman) and her road trip with Mona (Janel Parrish). And after the first half of Season 3, Emily (Shay Mitchell) can safely join Spence in the Rosewood fight club. Do you find it funny that the two Liars who’ve seen the most physical action are the two athletes?

Well to be fair, Hanna did stab herself in an “A”-related scuffle a few weeks ago. So that leaves Aria (Lucy Hale). Will we ever see her combat capabilities?

When a fan took to Twitter to ask PLL showrunner Marlene King if Aria was ever going to get any terrifying and action-packed scenes, Marlene responded, “3B.” Promises, promises.

But this won’t come as a big shock to you if you watched the preview for Season 3, Episode 13: “This Is a Dark Ride” (airing October 23) closely. Let’s just say: There’s a train, there’s duct tape, and it looks like Aria is unable to move. You do the math.

What do you guys think is going to happen to Aria during the highly anticipated Halloween episode, and how will she handle being physically attacked by “A” (or someone) on her own? Is she as much of a fighter as Emily or Spencer?

And will the train scene be the last of it, or is Aria the new favorite target of “A”?

No matter what she goes through, we’re just hoping for some sort of Ezra (Ian Harding) involvement, whether he holds her after it’s over or gets defensive and saves her. It’s NOT that she can’t save herself, it’s just that … OK, we can’t be the only ones who want to see an edgier side to the adorable writer (mystery money in a drawer doesn’t count). Are you with us?

Ezria versus “A”? Now that’s what we’re talking about.

Catch the PLL Halloween special on Tuesday, October 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
