For all the '90s kids out there who watch Pretty Little Liars, Holly Marie Combs isn’t just Ella Montgomery. She’s also Piper Halliwell, one third of the Charmed Ones. Yep, we’re talking about the fantasy show that was around BEFORE witches and vampires and the like were cool (though they were always cool to us): Charmed.

And as Charmed fans, we struggle to cheer for Ella and Zack (Steve Talley) when there’s even the slightest possibility that a certain someone we know and love could be joining the PLL cast.

Everyone say it together: Piper and Leo forever. Well, foreverish. We know that the couple had some trouble when they were together on Charmed, but we're willing to overlook their struggles if it means that Leo could show up in Rosewood.

Actor Brian Krause, who played Leo, tweeted today that he was auditioning for PLL (*insert excited fan squeal here*). And, just to make our hearts skip another beat, Holly quoted his tweet, adding: “Shut up!!! Wait am I getting ANOTHER bf? Damn Ella.”

We know that Holly is just joking around and probably doesn't actually know what’s coming up for Ella’s future boyfriends, but hey, she brought it up! How great would it be to see the two of them reunite? On the other hand, we do really love Zack. Decisions, decisions.

But let’s focus on the bigger picture here. We know nothing about the role that Brian is auditioning for, but we know that he’s a grown man and approximately the age of the parents on the show. What character could they be casting?

Could it be someone else from Alison’s (Sasha Pieterse) past? What about another member of Ezra’s (Ian Harding) family? Maybe a new teacher? The possibilities are literally endless.

So as we daydream of Leo and Piper, tell us what character you’d like to see come to Rosewood in the comments below! Feel free to get creative — you never know, maybe you’ll inspire Marlene King.

(As far as we’re concerned, there is always more room for another attractive Fitzgerald.)

Catch the PLL Season 3 summer finale on Tuesday, August 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
