Pretty Little Liars

Anticipation is running higher than ever for Pretty Little Liars' Season 2 finale, where show creator Marlene King has promised that the identity of "A" will finally be revealed! Marlene chatted with The Insider about the rest of Season 2, which she says will be more revealing than ever. 

"There are a few other big reveals that come up in the first several episodes," Marlene says. "[T]here's something else the girls are about to find that are about to lead them to her. There's also two parallel paths the girls take in 2B. There's the Hunt For A but they also find out something about Allison that they didn't know and they start retracing her steps from the Halloween episode to her death." And uncovering Ali's history will come with its own reward: "There's a big revelation about Allison that is shocking and filled with mystery and fun also," she says. 

If viewers felt like the first half of Season 2 did a lot of setting up story, Marlene says that the second half will deliver a major payoff — and then some. "2A had to set up a lot of story, so 2B is a freight train driving full steam ahead with no breaks and this never-ending series of "oh my god" moments. We just keep going at a pace that is insane."

And just because viewers will learn the identity of "A" doesn't mean that the mysteries will end. "There are a couple of things to gasp about in the finale," Marlene explains. "We're editing it as we speak but I do feel confident that while we answer a huge question, we also give the fans so much to talk about while we're off the air between seasons two and three."

We can't wait to see "A" unmasked — and most of all, we're stoked to hear that the show's team have a plan to make sure the show remains amazing even after the big reveal.
