It's hard to believe, but the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 summer finale (Season 3, Episode 12: “The Lady Killer”) is only a little over a week away.
We're desperately clinging to every clue we can find about the episode. Thankfully, showrunner Marlene King has been happy to indulge fans with some tantalizing Twitter teasers.

Marlene tweeted this description of the finale: "shocking, mind blowing, revenge for maya, 'A' team expands, 'A' speaks, non stop insanity."
Yes, you read that right: "A" really speaks in the finale. Marlene even confirmed it to another fan. She also says that the finale will contain "The most awesome communication from A ever to the PLLs."
We're assuming that Marlene means the new "A" speaks, since we've heard Mona (Janel Parrish) talk already — though we wouldn't say no to another monologue from Mona in full "A" mode.
And what's that about the "A" team expanding? Does Marlene just mean that fans will learn about more members of the team, or will "A" actively find a new recruit?
If that's not enough teaser for you, Marlene also tweeted her favorite line from the summer finale: "I OWE YOU ONE EMILY."
Huh. Is that someone saying they owe Emily one because she does them a favor? Or is it more of a threat — "A" or someone on the "A" team trying to say they owe her something bad?
We can't wait to find out!
Catch an all-new episode of PLL on Tuesday, August 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
