The Pretty Little Liars season finale left us with as many new questions as we got answers. Many of those new questions were connected to Mona (Janel Parrish) and the reveal that she didn’t know who Red Coat was either. This got us thinking... If Mona didn’t know who Red Coat was, then who was the red-coated figure visiting her in the Season 2 finale?
Showrunner Marlene King may not be willing to give us the answer just yet, but she has promised to in the Season 4 premiere (along with some other answers). She told a PLL fan last night on Twitter that Season 4, Episode 1: “A is for A-L-I-V-E” will answer this question.
Could Red Coat have been wearing a mask like Mona said she has in the past? Or could Red Coat have sent someone else in her place? The possibilities are endless, so we’re glad we’ll get a quick response from PLL in the season 4 premiere (well, if you count waiting until June quick).
There is a lot that doesn’t add up with the semi-reveal that Alison is Red Coat and that Mona didn’t know who she was. We’re hoping the Radley visit isn’t the only plot hole the Season 4 premiere fills up.
How do you think Red Coat managed the Radley visit without giving away her identity? Let us know in the comments below!
