As of Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 23: “I’m Your Puppet,” it's official: Spencer (Troian Bellisario) has joined the "A" team. But has she really gone bad, or is she just playing a risky game of double agent?

Spencer's "A" team card is brand spanking new. She's barely had time to get into action, so it's hard to tell how evil she's actually gone. Pretty Little Liars writer Jonell Lennon confirmed that Spencer was the one who kidnapped Malcolm, but as "A" acts go, that's not a very bad one. Yes, she scared the heck out of Aria (Lucy Hale), but she didn't do anything to actually hurt the kid.

We want to believe that Spencer hasn't really been swayed to the dark side, and is merely trying to destroy the "A" team from the inside out. Her actions in Episode 23 could easily be read that way. After all, she looked into Mona's (Janel Parrish) map and tried to dig up clues, just like the old Spencer would. Was that something Mona instructed her to do, or was that the "real" Spencer using the "A" team's new trust to her advantage?

What do you think: Has Spencer really converted to the "A" team, or is all an act?
