We’ve always known that Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario (Spencer) is incredibly talented, and she’s even expressed an interest in going behind the camera as a director in the past. Now Deadline reports that she’s been cast in an exciting new independent movie titled C.O.G.

The movie, which is based on a humorous essay by David Sedaris, co-stars Glee star Jonathan Groff and Happy Endings’ Casey Wilson. David writes about a trip he took to Oregon’s apple orchards, where he winds up working with and meeting “migrant workers and God-fearing churchgoers.”

The film is currently filming in Portland, Oregon, which we seriously hope doesn’t conflict with Troian’s PLL shooting schedule. Right now, the cast and crew is shooting the last few episodes of Season 3.

Are you excited about Troian’s new movie project? We’ll see anything she’s in!

Catch the return of PLL Season 3 on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
