So, you’re still dying to know who “A” is. Don’t worry — we’ve got our crack team of sleuths on the case, picking up even the tiniest clue for your mystery-solving pleasure. Here are some hints from Pretty Little Liars Season 2, Episode 4: “Blind Dates,” that may help us solve this thing for good!
Suspect #1: Mike Montgomery
Why he might be “A”: Aria (Lucy Hale)’s brother has always been moody and hard-to-read, and now we realize that he’s also sneaking around after school. Just where might he be going? We don’t know, but anyone who turns down fruit-filled pancakes — as Mike did this week — isn’t to be trusted, if you ask us.
Why he might not be “A”: Parental fighting can be tough on the kids, so maybe Mike is just struggling with his 'rents drama. But a note to Mike: If you think dealing with your parents is bad now, just wait another year or two until your mom is your teacher! You’ll be getting detention and extra chores handed out by the same person.
Suspect #2: Jason Dilaurentis
Why he might be “A”: Aria might have been charmed by his flirty comments about her pink hair, but we’re wondering if he has a more devious reason for trying to get closer to the girls. By the way, who else is having trouble picturing Aria with pink hair? That’s like picturing the pop singer P!nk with normal hair. (Good thing it turns out it was just a pink streak.)
Why he might not be “A”: This week, Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker) didn’t do anything all that suspicious. The only thing we saw him do wrong was that his basketball got wildly out-of-control and Aria had to pick it up. Then again, if missing shots were a crime, then Shaq (a.k.a. the world’s worst free-throw shooter) would currently be doing hard time.
Suspect #3: Samara Cook
Why she might be “A”: We got our first hint of suspicion about her this week, as she told Emily that she wanted her to go to Danby so they could be close. Considering that “A” is also trying to get Emily to go there, it was quite the coincidence. We just hope Emily was able to take all that Danby merch that “A” sent her and sell it on eBay for a pretty penny. (We would have!)
Why she might not be “A”: Have we even seen Samara talk to the other girls yet? As far as Samara knows, she might be Emily’s only friend. Samara probably thinks that Emily is about as popular as Napoleon Dynamite was at his high school.
