We know the announced Pretty Little Liars spin-off will tie into the PLL Halloween special, but will the Liars themselves be making an appearance in Ravenswood? Details are still scarce about the supernatural series, but we think it’s possible...
We know that Rosewood and Ravenswood are “not far” from each other - both fictional towns located in Pennsylvania. And, you can see from one of the teaser photos, that the towns are close enough to be on one of those creepy wooden signposts together. Given their proximity, it makes sense that the Liars have either visited Ravenswood in the past (flashback!) or could visit Ravenswood in the future. Could the towns’ respective mysteries also be connected?
We also know that Ravenswood is under some sort of curse that has plagued its residents for generations (we think they should consider relocation). The Liars have their very own curse in the form of “A” and her psychological manipulations. We’ve never thought of “A”’s emotional terrorism in supernatural terms, but the show has frequently veered into that territory with the reveal that Ali is (maybe?) alive and the recurring pulling of hands from grounds. Could Rosewood be under the same curse?
The Creative Team
Ravenswood is being made by the very same creative team behind PLL, which would make cross-collaboration simpler. Showrunner Marlene King tweeted, "We can't tell you who's in it yet. Like Rosewood, Ravenswood has dark secrets.” Though the tweet is vague, it does tease the possibility of some of our favorite Rosewood characters making appearances in the world of Ravenswood.
Would you like to see the Liars make an appearance in Ravenswood or would you prefer if they keep the two shows and their respective worlds separate? Let us know in the comments below!
