Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 24 Sneak Peek: Is There Hope?

In a new sneak peek of the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 finale, Season 3, Episode 24: "A dAngerous gAme" (airing March 19), Spencer (Troian Bellisario) is out of Radley, but that doesn't mean she's back to her old self.

As we shockingly learned on Season 3, Episode 23: “I’m Your Puppet,” Spencer has joined the "A" team — though whether it's for real or to bring the team down from the inside is still up for debate — and the change is definitely notable in her demeanor in this sneak peek.

The clip begins with the other three Liars waiting at Spencer's house. Emily (Shay Mitchell) is in distress over Toby's (Keegan Allen) apparent death; Hanna (Ashley Benson) reminds her that there might be more to that story, since the second body must have been sent to the state coroner "for a reason. I mean, maybe there's hope."

And that's when Spencer dramatically enters the scene, dryly bringing up one of her most classic lines: "You know how I feel about hope. It breeds eternal misery." Then she adds, "we lost Toby a long time ago. We just didn't know it."

She sounds flat, almost emotionless, and any emotion she does show is layered with sarcasm. The Liars don't know Spencer's secret yet, but we have a feeling it won't take them long to figure out all is not well with their friend.
