Ariana Grande Previews New Single “Problem” — Hear It Now! (VIDEO)

Christmas just came early, kids — OK, real early. Perfectly timed around the drop of Iggy Azalea’s debut album, The New Classic, Ariana Grande unveiled a snippet of her new single, “Problem,” featuring the rising hip hop star. And we thought we were going to have to wait for Saturday’s Radio Disney Music Awards!

It’s only a brief clip, but now we have a better idea of what the rising R&B star’s new tune (and sophomore album) will sound like. Judging by this song, there’s a definitely more urban vibe, which should come as no surprise considering Iggy’s involved. She may be a gorgeous, leggy blonde, but that Australian MC has earned her street cred, too!

“APRIL 27th #6DaysUntilProblem (this is only from the lyric video haven't shot the mv just yet),” Ariana captions the video, which shows the pint-sized popster singing the following lyrics:

“Head in the clouds, got no weight on my shoulders / I should be wiser and realize that I’ve got / One less problem without ya.” You tell ‘em, sister!

We can’t help but wonder if this song was directed at somebody in particular — namely Ari’s recent ex and The Wanted lead singer Nathan Sykes. Last we heard, the adorable twosome ended things on good terms, but by the looks of these angsty lyrics, that may not be the case anymore!

Hopefully, the rest of “Problem” will feature more Iggy rhymes and some more Ariana edge. This definitely makes up for the fact that we still haven’t seen the official release of that catchy collab with Chris Brown!

What do you think of Ariana’s song so far? Tell us in the comments below.
