Prince George Helps Mom Kate Middleton Celebrate Her 32nd Birthday!

Kate Middleton recently celebrated her 32nd birthday and what a year she’s had leading up to it! On July 22, 2013, the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her first son, Prince George, their royal heir to the British throne. Yeah, pretty much any other accomplishment is going to pale in comparison.

These days, Kate is a new mom, an occupation that no doubt keeps her very busy. Though, flawless human being that she is, the Duchess still finds time to lend her support to numerous charities. And to look stunning and perfect at any given moment.

So how did this royal goddess choose to spend her birthday? Instead of putting on a big show and hosting a flashy party, Kate instead opted for a simple meal at home. Of course, “home” for her is Kensington Palace, so that’s still fairly epic. But low-key and basic nonetheless.

Guests at Kate’s cozy dinner party included her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, as well as her siblings, Pippa and James. Us Weekly reports that housekeeper Antonella Fresolone provided the meal. She specializes in Italian cuisine and just the thought of it is already making our mouths water.

Prince George, now almost six months old, was a guest of honor at the party, with a source telling the mag that spending the night in was "was easier than going out and leaving George at home."

Also in attendance, of course, was Kate’s husband, Prince William, who made sure to leave his new classes at the University of Cambridge in time to make it home for the party. Family, friends, and delicious food — sounds like a pretty awesome birthday to us!
