It’s hard to believe that Pretty Little Liars is gearing up to film it’s 100th episode, which is a huge TV landmark as it traditionally marks the point at which a show can be sold into syndication. Because it is such a big deal, the showrunners usually pull out all of the stops to make the ep special. And it seems that the PLL Powers That Be are no exception! Check out the sheer size of the cast in this photo of the table read for Season 5, Episode 5.
“Table read for the 100th episode of #pll. This is crazy people,” Troian Bellisario (Spencer) tweeted, along with a panoramic photo of the entire cast for the episode. It is a lot of people. And we are so excited. In addition to the Liars, visible in the photo is Ian Harding (Ezra), Janel Parrish (Mona), and Tammin Sursok (Jenna Marshall). We also know that Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) will be making his much-anticipated return in this episode, Veronica Hastings (Lesley Fera) should be in town, and that the episode will resolve one of Pretty Little Liars’ biggest mysteries yet. The episode was written by executive producer Marlene King, and will be directed by Norman Buckley.
Also on the docket? Well, we were clued in by Marlene’s tweets that the episode will feature the first Spanna (or Hencer, depending on your preference) Marlene has ever written. We’re excited to see these two together, and hopefully fighting “A” crime. One of our favorite subplots of Season 4B involved these two joining forces to play detective.
The episode is titled “Miss Me x 100” and we’re just going to go ahead and pretend that this means we will be getting 100 supporting characters brought back into the fold for the milestone installment. We’ve also taken the liberty of outlining the five scenes we most want to see in the episode. Yes, we’re very excited for this episode, and if this table read photo is any indication, we won’t be disappointed.
Who else can you spot in the photo? Who do you hope to see in the episode? Sound off in the comments below!
