Project Runway Star Arrested for Lying to Police About Being Robbed
A Project Runway star has been arrested for what apparently was not model behavior.
Morgan Quinn, who was a model on Season 1 of Project Runway, was arrested on October 4 for allegedly lying to police about being robbed, according to the New York Daily News.
Morgan told police in August 2013 that she was robbed by a homeless man with a sharp object at a convenience store in NYC. She said the man then forced her into a building and stole her purse, which she said contained a $2,000 ring and $300 cash.
However, the building's video surveillance shows that there was no such robbery, and so she was charged with filing a false report on August 23. She has now been arrested on the charge and is due to appear in court next week.

In addition to modeling for Project Runway, Morgan has also previously appeared on the cover of Harper's Bazaar.
Morgan is sadly not the only reality-show model to have trouble with the law recently. In June, America's Next Top Model finalist Renee Alway was arrested after hiding with a gun in a garage in Palm Springs, CA.
We're wishing Morgan the best and hoping she can get things back on track.
