Once Upon a Time makes a big change in Season 3, Episode 7: “Dark Hollow” — we’re going back to Storybrooke!
After six episodes in Neverland, the story shifts to where it all began, and this time, there are two redheads leading the pack: Ariel and Belle. (OK, maybe Belle was just a redhead when she was Lacey, but just go with it!)
In the promo for the episode (airing Sunday, November 10), we see Ariel surface in Maine as Grumpy discovers her. Fans may remember this from the Comic-Con clip in which her character was introduced over the summer, but now there are more details surrounding her role and why she’s swimming from land to land.
After her interesting past with Regina, she agrees to help the Evil Queen and Rumplestiltskin only so she can find her True Love, Prince Eric. Though we don’t see him in the promo, we do see the dwarfs working diligently to pick-axe their way through a cave wall, exposing some magical light (perhaps a portal) and Belle leading everyone to work hard so they can save Henry, plus hopefully everyone stranded on the island.
“We need to save him — Henry, everyone,” Belle says in the promo, and then the shot pans to her and Ariel with a gun pointed at their heads! Who is it?
“We need to succeed, or people we really care about will die,” she continues, but things don’t look good for them.
We only get a brief glimpse at Neverland — Neal screams Emma’s name, scared for her as she ducks under a shadow; Henry and Pan stand together — so it looks like it’s all about the epic hashtag OUAT is using for the occasion: “#BelleIsBack.” It’s about damn time!
