Queer Eye for the Straight Guy Gets 10-Year Reunion! Where Are They Now?

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy Gets 10-Year Reunion! Where Are They Now?

Time flies when you look this fabulous! Believe it or not, it has been 10 years since Queer Eye for the Straight Guy first appeared on televisions across the US and to honor the anniversary, Bravo will host a special reunion show. The event will bring back all our favorite men: Thom, Kyan, Jai, Ted, and, of course, Carson.

As much as we’d love to seem them revamp some lucky fan’s life in a full out makeover, Bravo reportedly is keeping things simple. The five stars will be sitting down with Andy Cohen and reminiscing about the good ole days. We’re expecting plenty of clips from the show, which, in turn, will lead to plenty of jokes about dated 2001 footage. Maybe we’ll even see a Blockbuster!

In case you just can’t wait for the special, which will air sometime in October, here’s a little background on where each of the main men ended up.

You may have seen Ted Allen keep his palate up to par as a Top Chef judge. He also won the prestigious James Beard Award last year for his work hosting Chopped on The Food Network.

Thom Filicia has kept up his New York City interior design business and appeared on show like Dress My Nest. He also somehow he found time to write a book, American Beauty.

Carson Kressley took his style skills and launched a clothing line while continuing his on-air appearances on shows including Dancing With the Stars.

The culture expert on Queer Eye, Jai Rodriguez, pursued his passions of acting and singing. He’s appeared in productions of Rent and The Producers as well as acted on TV shows including How I Met Your Mother. He also appeared in the Lady Gaga and Beyonce music video for “Telephone.” He’s the newscaster!

Kyan Douglas, aka the one who taught America’s men to shave, is a certified yoga instructor who hosted TLC’s Ten Years Younger. His pursuit for inner peace has led to various trips around the world including to Costa Rica and Egypt.
