Is Rachel Lindsay Done Being a Lawyer After ‘Bachelorette’ 2017?

If you ask most Bachelorette fans why they like Rachel Lindsay, one of the things they’d likely cite is the Season 13 star’s kick-ass career.

Unlike many of the women we see come through this franchise, the Dallas gal has an admirable day job as a corporate lawyer — at least, she did…

Of course, right now, the 32-year-old hasn’t been practicing law much, seeing as she was tied up in filming Nick Viall’s Bachelor 2017 and her own season.

But now that she’s back in the real world — and newly-engaged to one of her 31 contestants — people are wondering if she’ll be back in the courtroom anytime soon.

If one report is to be believed, her days as an attorney are numbered.

“She wants to change careers once her season is through,” an insider tells Life & Style.

Wait, so what does she want to change it to?

The source claims Rachel is hoping to live out her dream as a sports broadcaster.

“The positive reaction she received from being on The Bachelor and now The Bachelorette has cemented that the change is meant to be,” the source continues.

The insider adds, “She can’t wait until she can make it happen.”

Apparently, working in TV and sports has always been aspiration of hers. Actually, she even studied sports law in school!

As the source tells it, the brunette beauty thought going the legal route over attempting a career at ESPN would be more practical.

However, now that she’s had “the confidence boost she needed” from the show, another insider says she’s ready to go forward with her first love — and ABC wants to help her!

The source reveals, “[Bachelorette producers] think that she’s amazing in front of the camera. She has so much stage presence and spunk. She’s a natural.”

Fans probably should have seen that coming, seeing as Andi Dorfman did almost the same thing back in 2014.

When the Season 10 star joined the show, she was an assistant district attorney in Atlanta. Fast forward a year and she was living in NYC and pursuing a career as a writer.

Plus, just last summer Bachelorette winner and JoJo Fletcher’s fiancé Jordan Rodgers used his increased visibility to snag a gig with ESPN as a college football analyst.

This is par for the course, people!
