Bachelorette 2014 Ratings: Fantasy Suites Win the Night!

Last night's Fantasy Suites episode of Bachelorette Season 10 may have contained the least dramatic rose ceremony ever (seriously, why bother putting Josh Murray and Nick Vial through all that when they were clearly getting roses?) but that didn't seem to stop the viewers from tuning in. In fact, Andi Dorfman's Dominican Republic sexytime dates ep was the most viewed show across the major networks! Guess America just wanted to see the Hotlanta gal get her makeouts on.

According to TVbytheNumbers, the ninth episode of the season ranked No. 1 in its two-hour time slot (8-10 p.m.), snagging an impressive 6.91 million viewers (after adjustment). All the steamy action — though it was decidedly tamer than previous seasons — helped the ABC show claim the spot of Monday’s top series in the coveted adults 18-34 demo, as well as all female viewers.

We didn’t think the ratings could top last week’s family fiascos of Hometown Dates, but Andi was able to pull it off — maybe it was all of those awesome, resort-ready dresses she was rocking. The show was up from the 6.83 million person audience last week. That being said, the rating was still down to 1.7 from last week’s 1.8, but that’s to be expected after last week being so high-performing.

And just because they didn’t kill it enough in primetime, Chris Harrison and the rest of the evil geniuses also delivered the most socially broadcast series for the fifth week in a row. How many tweets exactly? That would be 120.6K, which was up 34 percent week over week. It must have been all y’all (™ Andi) droning on about the loss of Chris Soules and pitching him for Bachelor 2015. Don’t worry, the producers heard ya...
