Good news, Real Housewives of New Jersey fans: Last Sunday's Season 6, Episode 5 drew in more than 2 million viewers for the first time since the season premiere. We guess people wanted to see the aftermath of the First Responders party fight.
According to TV By the Numbers, almost exactly 2 million people tuned in to the 8 p.m. airing of Episode 5, which featured the house husbands going at it after Amber Marchese and Nicole Napolitano's big fight last week. That's a big rise in views from Episode 4, which pulled in only 1.75 million viewers. This week's episode also pulled in a 0.9 in the coveted Adults 18-49 demo, up from 0.8 for the episodes of the last several weeks.
This is definitely good news for the show, which had been lingering in the under 2 million zone for weeks — the first time since Season 1 that the numbers had dipped under that mark.
Now, this isn't to say the show is 100 percent back on track. After all, in Season 5 the fifth episode of the season had 2.19 million viewers, and it was on the lower side for that season (the average viewership was 2.41 million per episode).
Still, we're glad to see the numbers headed back in the right direction!
